Princeton Children's Book Festival!

PRINCETON (duh) -- Today from 11:00-4:00, I was one of 80 authors who got to talk children's books with mobs of happy readers. What an honor for me to be included. Thank you Princeton Public Library! See the link at http://www.princetonlibrary.org/find/kids/book-festival

No explanation... I should have figured out who and what this was!

Un-Knit the Bridge

PITTSBURGH -- Hannah and I helped to dismantle the knitted/crocheted bridge on Saturday. It was sad to see it go. I say, LET'S DO IT AGAIN!

The bridge, dressed in black, was in mourning, too.

First unravel the thread, then cut the bundle ties, making sure that nothing falls into the river (it didn't).

Hannah and Mum at the Mattress Factory

PITTSBURGH'S NORTH SIDE -- It's a museum of contemporary art. http://www.mattress.org/index.cfm Thus, photos will equal a few thousand words.

Four Hannahs in the mirrored ceiling of a mirrored room.

Looks like I'm conducting an orchestra.

What's underground?

Hannah and Mum at the Knitted Bridge

PITTSBURGH -- Hannah and I walked the Warhol Bridge yesterday. It was the first time I had a chance to really look at it all. We're planning to help dismantle the panels next Saturday.
